Once upon a time there existed a website called Hiking with Impunity  whose mission it was to be the supreme hiking resource on the planet.

Dream big, I always say.

I also say that life interrupts, and in this respect life did not fail to uphold its end of the bargain. It interrupted. In so many wonderful, wild, terrifying, humbling, tragic, humorous, enlightening, and exhilarating ways.

Hiking with Impunity sat neglected. No updates. No reviews. No new gear. Nothing.

While we were not hiking as much as we used to (read: not at all), we still made time to travel. And, travel we did. Not only did we travel but we made new friends who loved to travel, found out that old friends were bitten by the travel bug, and realized that we could continue to tell our stories in a new way.

It was around midnight on a Saturday after a particularly delicious meal in Philadelphia with my wife and business partner (see Trilogy Event Design) that it dawned on me that the stories did not need to die. I could still write and provide a website for others to write about their life experiences — whether that be about a tour of Italy, a stay at an all-inclusive resort, an African safari, or a cruise to Alaska. I thought that there would still be a way to express my opinions (because I am nothing short of opinionated) on trips I've taken, books I've read, restaurants I've eaten at, and cruises I've sailed on. And, fortunately for you dear reader, I though that that maybe you'd like to read what any of us that contribute to this blog have to say.

That's what I thought at least...

Now I bring you Travelers Think…

Travelers Think… is an information-focused website for a community to develop and evolve, and for the relationship between Travelers Think… and it's readers to strengthen. Coming soon to the website will be a forum, giving everyone a chance to become a member and offer their own views on their favorite trips or hikes, gear or books Or, maybe you have a story you'll want to share. A tale of an encounter with a doe, a chipmunk, or a bear. Maybe you soared high in a helicopter over the pitons of St. Lucia. We 'll want to hear about it.

It is the mission of Travelers Think… to be your resource, your website, and your community.

We thank you for your support and look forward to this new adventure together. And, if you have a story you'd like to tell, please contact us by either using the contact form.
