Blogging with Impunity #7 - We're Coming Back!

Hiking with Impunity is back - well-rested from our honeymoon, and looking forward to getting back outside hiking again!

We will be publishing new articles in the coming weeks, including our second interview. Curt Ashenfelter, the Executive Director of the Keystone Trails Association (KTA), was nice enough to answer our questions about not only the KTA but also issues pertinent to hikers in the Pennsylvania area!

And, as the winter months approach, we will be looking at not only hiking but snowshoeing as well!

One final note: after careful deliberation, we have decided to cease operation of the online forum hikingwithimpunity.net. The reasons are simple: not many people were using it, and we were receiving an inordinate amount of spam which we felt was potentially putting new members at risk. For now, we have opened a discussion forum on this site, until we decide how best to continue the online community we are fostering.

In the meantime, we continue to thank you for reading and all your support! Happy trails!!

Blogging with Impunity #6 - On Hiatus

How could we be on hiatus, you ask, when we had only just opened this web site a mere 4 months ago? Have we run out of material? Did we just lose interest?

The answer is far simpler, and much less conspiratorial: life interrupts. But, this time, life is interrupting in a beautiful way. At the end of this coming week, there will be one more post to the site before we re-enter into hiatus mode.

When will we return with regularly scheduled articles? New Years at the latest, mid-December at the earliest. And when we return, we should have a few surprises up our sleeves, so watch this space!

If you are a regular reader of our site, we thank you for your continued interest and support, and hope that you will continue to check back often. Recommend us to your family and friends!

If you have just found our site, please take a look around, as we have quite a bit on offer.

It's our pleasure and privilege to have each of you as readers! Now, get outside and Hike with Impunity!
